TikTok Ads

Native-feeling video advertising where creative is the targeting, and polish is often what kills performance.

TikTok punishes advertising that looks like advertising. The platform rewards content that would earn attention without a media budget behind it, which is why brands with expensive production values frequently lose to competitors filming on a phone in a stockroom.

That makes TikTok primarily a creative discipline with a media layer attached. My job is to build the testing system: enough concepts in rotation, clear enough measurement to know which one is working, and the discipline to kill what is not before fatigue eats the budget.

What running TikTok involves

  • Creative strategy built on hooks, native formats and sound, not repurposed TV cuts
  • Campaign structure that gives each concept a fair read
  • Spark Ads using organic posts that already proved they hold attention
  • Pixel and events API setup, verified before spend
  • Weekly creative refresh cadence, because fatigue arrives faster here than anywhere else
  • Blended measurement, since TikTok influences searches it never gets credit for

Straight answers

Is TikTok only for young audiences?

Not any more. The age spread has widened considerably, though whether your buyers are there is a data question I will check rather than assume.

How much creative does TikTok need?

More than any other platform: several concepts a month at minimum. Budget planning should assume creative production, not just media.

Can B2B work on TikTok?

Occasionally, for founder-led brands with a personality to show. For most B2B, LinkedIn and search are the better use of the same money, and I will say so.
